Care & Safety Guidelines

Please ensure you follow the recommended care and safety tips when using your products.

Candle Care

  • Initially burn the candle for 3-4 hours to allow wax to melt completely to the surface to prevent “tunneling”.
  • Trim wick(s) to 1/4” each time before relighting your candle. This will aid in preventing black smoke from appearing on the vessel.  It will also promote an even burn and steady flame for the life of your candle. However, soot can appear with candles that have burned longer than the 3–4 hour recommendation.
  • Keep the candle melt pool free of wick debris (i.e. wick trims, matches or other debris).
  • Never leave burning candle unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Avoid burning your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
  • Place Candle on a stable, heat resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting (i.e. furniture, drapes, books, paper, or other flammable material).
  • Discontinue use when 1/4” of wax is left.  Never burn a candle all the way down once the wick tab can be seen. Extinguish the flame if it comes too close to the container. Failure to extinguish the flame can be dangerous resulting in shattered glass from overheated container.
  • Store your candle in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Keep your candle out of drafts so that you increase burn time, prevent uneven burning, smoking, diminished scent throw and accidental fire.
  • To maximize scent throw, keep the candle in an enclosed area with no open windows or doors for 30 minutes before entering. Likewise, don’t burn too many candles in small room or in a tight home where the space is not well ventilated.
  • Allow the candle to cool completely before handling. Extinguish your candle before leaving home or going to sleep.
  • Replace the cap to your candle after it’s cooled from a burn to help keep the cold throw and keep dust from collecting on the top of your candle. Dust can be a fire hazard.

Room Spray Care

  • Shake well before each use.
  • Spray into the center of the room away from your face and eyes.
  • Hold bottle 8"-10" away from linen areas so the mist falls onto the surface.
  • Do not use as a body spray.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Patch test in a conspicuous area to check for discoloration.
  • Do not eat or drink.

Wax Melt Care

  • Remove all packaging before use. If using a small burner, only use 1 wax melt at a time. Otherwise, I recommend using 2 wax melts at a time.
  • Wax melts contain dye so avoid contact with fabrics as melted wax may cause staining.
  • Place warmer in a stable position.
  • Use wax melts only with a wax warmer.
  • Do not melt on non-approved warmer.
  • Never leave unattended.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • You can use wax melts until the scent has faded away and then the wax melt should be discarded. However, do not pour melted wax into drain.
