How long will my candle last before I use it?

Kandie’s Scents, LLC makes tin candles with a Soy Wax Blend and jar candles with a Natural Coconut Wax Blend. Therefore, our candles actually get better the longer they cure (sit before lighting it). So, your candle will be fine to sit, even if you decide not to use it until months later!

Do you have customer service?

How fragrant is your line of candle scents?

Kandie’s Scents, LLC makes its candles tins with a Soy Wax Blend and jar candles with a Natural Coconut Wax Blend. Therefore, these blends are designed to achieve a stronger scent throw (more so than just with Soy Wax alone). However, our candles will not give the same fragrant scent throw as it would if we used paraffin waxes that includes additional additives.  In a medium to large space (bedroom, office, kitchen, living room), you will receive a nice scent.

Why does my candle wick have a black "mushroom" shape after burning?

All of our wicks burn with a slight curl which creates a self-trimming effect with minimal carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduced smoking, and a stable flame.

Why does my candle look like that?

If you see white coating on the candle, that is what we call “frosting”. It is a natural byproduct of natural wax and in no way affects the performance of the candle. It is simply aesthetics. The space between the wax and the candle is called a “wet spot”. This is caused by the wax shrinking and the presence of air bubbles when the wax is cooling. Frosting and wet spots can also occur due to climate changes especially during transit. You may even notice after you burn your candle the top is bumpy and uneven. All of these imperfections are a telltale sign that your candle is 100% soy wax. That’s right no toxins over here!
